First mom and then dad passed away just 31 days later. He had been very sick for over a year and seemed to just fade away after mom died.
We lost him just one week short of his 89th birthday. We're putting mom's ashes in the casket with dad...reunited.

Shirley's mom passed away on September 18, 2011. She was called home by our Lord at the age of 85 after spending the day with Shirley's
dad, her husband of 60 years. We had taken her with us to the mountains just a week before and got her to cook hobo pie over the
campfire. We'll cherish those memories along with all the rest: cooking, sewing, tending the garden, raising us kids, and standing by dad.
